THE BIG CHALLENGE IS…
If you identify as a female, you must write your story from a male character’s perspective.
If you identify as a male, you must write your story from a female character’s perspective.
So this will be from a first-person (I said) or a third-person (he or she thought) point of view.
HERE are the important parameters:
You may write a shorter story of 750 to 1,000 words, OR a longer story of 2,000 to 3,000 words.
The number of words will be strictly enforced, so use your word counter!
You may include one to four characters in your story.
You may write in whatever genre you like (realistic, sci fi, horror, mystery, etc.).
You must send in your story by October 28 at 5:00 p.m.

PRIZES will be awarded for the top stories in each category (short and long). GOOD LUCK!
