When it comes to boo boos, May is a significant month. The days are longer, the weather’s warmer and we all want to be outside more. Bikes, scooters and skateboards come out of hibernation, followed by the bumps, scrapes, stings and scratches of summer. So it seems appropriate that the organization that soothes the whole country’s boo-boos, big and small, was founded on May 21, 1881.
